Ayers Rock Helicopters normally operate a fleet of 4 helicopters, one Bell 206 Jetranger and 3 Robinson R44s between our base at Ayers Rock and Kings Creek Station.
The Robinson R44 is now the most popular scenic helicopter in the world. It can carry up to three passengers and is particularly well suited to scenic flights and sightseeing charters due to the large windows, allowing a fantastic view. When available, one of our R44s is air-conditioned.
Our Jetranger can carry up to four passengers and is our preferred machine for filming, photography, survey work and long-range charters. This helicopter is well suited for photography as it provides a stable platform and passengers are able to open the windows during flight allowing reflection free photography.
Apart from our standard scenic flights, we also provide a full range of charter services including aerial filming, photography, survey, search and rescue. All our machines have the ability to remove doors. As well, our Jetranger can be fitted with mounts for external cameras.
